Dak kindercentra offers professional child care for children from 0 to 13 years of age in more than 70 centers in The Hague, Leidschendam-Voorburg and Rijswijk. Our mission is to contribute to the development of your child. Our centers meet the highest government requirements and we are HKZ/ISO-certified. Daycare (0 - 4 years)
At Dak kindercentra, we take the rhythm of your child into account, just as you do at home. Eating, sleeping and diaper change will take place at the moment your child is ready for it, and as your child gets older we gradually give it the rhythm of a toddler. Then your child will have fixed times of eating and sleeping, together with the other toddlers. For the older children we organize various activities. There is always the opportunity to play outside. At various centers, we work with a Before and Early school Education, for stimulating the development of your child.

After school care (4 - 13 years)
When your child is attending primary school, then your child is welcome at Dak kindercentra after school and even in the holidays. At the end of the school day the staff from Dak kindercentra will collect your child and bring your child to the childcare center. Children can share their stories, eat, drink, play, do homework, read or join an activity. The cozy atmosphere makes children feel at home.

Playgroups (2 - 4 years)
Your toddler will be welcomed in a pleasant and educational surrounding. The pedagogical employees organize activities such as; play with clay, sing and other activities. The employees spend a lot of time and attention on the language development and social skills of your toddler. In addition the employees will stimulate independence. This will give your toddler confidence and make the transition to the primary school easier.

Opening hours
If your child is attending day care, you can bring your child from 7.30 am till 6 pm. If your child is attending primary school, then your child is welcome after school and can stay with us until 6.30 pm. During holidays and margin days you can bring your child for the whole day. If your child is attending playgroups, you can bring your child minimal 2 day parts a week. What days and what opening hours varies per child care center.

Cost
The rates for childcare and after school care can be found in the hourly tariffs 2013. We offer registered daycare and after school care, for which you can receive childcare allowance from the Dutch government. The level of the childcare allowance depends on the level of your income and will be paid through tax authorities.
